BTEC Implementation Training

Within the framework of the Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia’s “Improving the Quality and Relevance of TVET Programmes in Engineering in Georgia” project, which is funded by the Millennium Challenge Cooperation, Mark Shenton, representative of the Project’s international partner “Pearson Education Limited, led two days training for the teachers and administration of “Spektri” and “Akhali Talgha” Colleges. The training aimed at introduction to BTEC Implementation training and methodologies.

Two-days training, held at Spektri Campus, covered the areas of BTEC key features, planning the programme, delivery and assessment, learning and assessment, assignment writing, internal and external verification, recording achievement, review and claiming certificates among other issues.

15 representatives of “Spektri” College and 8 representatives of “Akhali Talgha” College attended the trainings on June 1-2, 2017.
