Within the framework of the Millennium Challenge Account - Georgia’s “Industry-led Skills and Workforce Development Project”, funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the LEPL Spektri, in collaboration with the project’s international partner “Pearson Education Limited”, conducted a Business Conference on the topic of “TVET Driven Economy”.
The conference aimed at sharing the progress of the qualifications’ development process in the areas of Electrician, Welding, Air Conditioning System Specialist and Water-waste Hydro technician qualifications, as well as introducing the opportunities of improved engagement of business sector in TVET and sharing the experience of “Spektri” College in this field. Conference was concluded with the MoU signing ceremony between “Spektri” and the Construction Company “Anagi”, empowering Spektri students with internship and employment opportunities.
The Conference was attended by the representatives of the business sector, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Millennium Challenge Account - Georgia, the Millennium Challenge Cooperation, PEM GmbH and Pearson Education Limited.
